Peter spent 24 years as an airline pilot with Ansett Airlines flying most of the fleet. He also flew as a Commander on International operations with Transwede, Air Mauritius and Singapore Airlines.
Peter was a flight training instructor on most types and served as an air safety specialist with the International Federation of Airline Pilots and the International Civil Aviation Organisation based in Montreal.
Peter flew with Transwede Airlines flying MD80 aircraft out of Stockholm and as a Captain on the Airbus A340 with Air Mauritius where he also served as President of the Pilot’s association. In 1996 Peter joined Singapore Airlines as an A340 Commander on International long haul operations.
He later served as Jet Simulator Manager on the CRJ aircraft with Kendell Airlines where he was instrumental in turning around the flight training results from a 70% CRJ pilot conversion failure rate to a 100% success rate.
In 2002 Peter was invited to head up a full-time Christian ministry to business people in Melbourne, so with 15,000 flying hours he moved on from flying to business mentoring.
Peter founded Australian Marketplace Connections which in turn developed Integrated Leadership Groups which provided facilitated peer mentoring for business owners, managers and CEOs in Melbourne and Sydney. He also developed the Cre8 Christian Business Conference.
Peter also served in a leadership capacity in bringing David Wilkerson, Franklin Graham and Dr Paul Yonggi Cho to Melbourne.
Peter is on the pastoral staff of Grow Church in Ringwood and is Executive Director of the River of Life Conference Inc. He currently works with churches, Christian networks and organisations in contributing to bringing a 21st century re-formation to church and marketplace. Peter is married to Robin and has three adult children and six grandchildren,
